Controversial statement but Palm Beach is seriously underrated. While it may be true this writer gives it extra credit because of the dog beach there, its holiday essence cannot be ignored. It’s complete with a playroom with bean bags, board games, children's books and a tepee, as well as a huge entertainment system. The floor-to-ceiling windows have remote-controlled blinds (sleep-in secured), and there's an idling creek that runs through the property that can be heard from the backyard where you can gather around the fire pit and watch the kids play in the cubby. Arriving at Blackbutt House, it is obvious that each and every design detail has been properly, properly thought out. Smeg appliances can't help but sparkle in the glorious light just as your mind can't help but wander to slow breakfasts your holiday self finally has time to make.
